When the history is written of this era, I suspect the TEA Party Movement will warrant but a small and very inaccurate paragraph. I hope to write the history myself, because only then will the TEA Party be remembered as what it is: a movement by ordinary Americans protesting the unabated increase of government into our lives and our economic livelihood, a movement almost universally smeared and misunderstood, a movement assassinated by a media opposed to its values and smothered by party elites who wanted to protect the status quo. Note that I said ‘is‘. The TEA Party Movement remains for now an is but I suspect it likely will become a was shortly for the very reasons I just listed.
