Have you ever noticed bank robbers don’t really care if they jay-walk on their way to the bank?
I say this in response to a comment I saw on a gun control article on Huffington Post:
“If you’ve ever been a member of faculty who gave some narcissistic gun-nut a D you could understand the need for a bill like the no-concealed-deadly-weapons-in-campus-buildings.”
This comment sums up the Liberal/anti-gun mindset so very well.
1: They think guns make the criminal, and it’s not a case of criminals like to use guns.
2: They think anyone with a gun is irrational and dangerous, prone to commit depraved acts on a whim; that those with guns could just go off at the drop of a hat.
3: They think laws are the solution to the above problems.
If, as the comment suggests, someone would shoot someone else over a bad grade, do you really think they care about a “no guns in here” policy? Like I said about the bank robbers, if someone is prepared to commit murder (which is already illegal), do you really think it’s any skin of their nose if the jury also finds him/her in violation of the “no-concealed-deadly-weapons-in-campus-buildings Act”?
Murder is the worst crime of them all. If I am prepared to commit murder, why would I not commit lesser crimes to achieve murder?
